| 河南省济源莲东铁矿位于济源—沁阳—武陟铁矿成矿带上,矿区内出露地层均为新生代覆盖层,重力、航磁异常形态规整,强度中等。经钻探工程,在地表以下约600 m处发现了含铁岩系和两层铁矿体,估算铁矿石资源量约600万t,矿石矿物以磁铁矿、假象赤铁矿为主,局部地段有少量的黄铁矿；脉石矿物有石英、黑云母(绿泥石)、角闪石、斜长石等,微量矿物为磷灰石。矿体赋存于太古宇林山岩群,矿床成因类型为沉积变质型。该成矿带上的虎岭、思礼、柿槟、山口、三佛宫、四里沟等航磁异常与莲东铁矿区具有相同的成矿地质背景和航磁异常,具有较好的找矿前景。 |

| The Liandong iron ore deposit is located in the Jiyuan-Qinyang-Wuzhi iron metallogenetic belt. The outcropped strata are the Cenozoic covering layer, the patterns of gravity and aeromagnetic anomalies are regular, the anomaly strength is moderate. The iron-bearing layer and two iron ore bodies were discovered at 600 meters below the surface by the drilling activities. The estimated iron ore resource is about 6 million tons, and the ore minerals dominated by magnetite and martite, and minor pyrite occurs locally. Gangue minerals are quartz, biotite (chlorite), hornblende and plagioclase and rare mineral is apatite. The iron ore body is hosted in the Achaean Linshanyan Group, the genesis of the iron deposit is sedimentary metamorphic type. Those aeromagnetic anomalies in the Tiger Ridge, Sili, Shankou, Sanfogong and Siligou in this metallogenetic belt have the same geological background and anomaly pattern as the Liandong iron ore deposit area. Therefore, there are great potential for discovering large sized iron deposits in those areas. |
