This paper introduces the characteristics of the silver polymetallic deposit in the Xionger mountain area, western Henan Province. Based on integrated analysis of deposit geology, and geochemical studies of lead isotope, hydrogen and oxygen isotope, rare earth elements and fluid inclusions, it is concluded that the ore-forming material of the deposit was originated from the remelting magma of the Mesozoic granite mass and superimposed by strata of the Taihua formation. Based on the above-mentioned study, the metallogenic model of the silver polymetallic deposit in the Xionger mountain area was established, which can guide the prospecting in the Xionger region and other similar areas. |
