| The Shanxian-Mianchi-Xin’an bauxite belt is the key bauxite produce and exploration base in western Henan province. From west to east, it is divided into three bauxite belts, i.e., Qiligou-Jiaodi (western belt), Dujiagou-Yushan (central belt) and Zhangyaoyuan-Xiaye (eastern belt) belts. The paper describes geological characteristics of the deep buried bauxite deposit, especially the vertical variation rules of chemical composition. Finally, the prospecting criteria is summarized and eight prospecting targets are proposed in the middle and deep parts of the deposit area. |
