| Qiyugou Au deposit is situated in the eastern section of Xiong’ershan metamorphic core complexes, Taihua group consisting of granite-greenstone formation favorable for gold mineralization serves as an initial ore source bed, and owing to the downward migration enrichment in the course of long term tectonic evolution, the initial source bed transformed into the derivative source bed which is finally responsible for the large scale mineralization occurring in early Cretaceous in the region. |
