In a Nb-Ta mining area in the Congo (Kinshasa), it has been found that the ore-controlling structures have obvious magnetism, and the granite closely related to mineralization have strong radioactivity. In order to further evaluate the prospecting prospect of the mining area and point out the direction for the next work, the aeromagnetic and aeroradiometric characteristics of the mining area are quickly identified by using the comprehensive methods of aerogeophysical magnetic and radiometric survey, and infer that the known ore body was controlled by the NE-trending F1 fault zone, The trend of this fault zone has changed in many places,indicates that there are multiple magmatic activities in this area. the granite outcropping area and underlying orientation closely related to mineralization are delineated. It is expected to find a larger-scale granite pegmatite-type Nb-Ta deposit along the F1 fault zone at the boundary of granite. |
