      铀矿是核工业的粮仓,更是国家建设发展的重要战略资源。近年来“新地区、新层位、新类型”三新找矿工作取得重要进展,本文在鄂尔多斯盆地西南缘崇信地区以下白垩统罗汉洞组为主要找矿目的层开展研究。罗汉洞组为一套红杂色岩系,岩石类型主要有红色、黄色砂岩及棕色泥岩,砂岩类型主要为长石石英砂岩,以辫状河相、风成沉积体系为主,砂体总厚度适中,厚30~150 m,横向连通性好,目前已发现多处铀矿化及厚大铀异常,为层间氧化带型,且砂岩成熟度较高,孔隙度高、渗透性较好,有利于铀的富集及地浸开采。本文通过对罗汉洞组砂岩岩石学特征研究,有助于进一步了解红杂色岩系的物源、铀源及还原介质等特征为下一步开展铀矿找矿工作奠定基础。
英文摘要:
      Uranium deposits are the granaries of the nuclear industry and an important strategic resource for national construction and development. In recent years, substantial advancements have been achieved in exploration initiatives targeting “new regions, new horizons, and new play types.” In the Chongxin area located along the southwestern margin of the Ordos Basin, systematic exploration efforts have been conducted, with the Lower Cretaceous Luohandong Formation identified as the primary exploration target. The Luohandong Formation comprises a suite of variegated reddish-colored clastic rocks, with rock types mainly including red and yellow sandstones and brown mudstones. The sandstone types are mainly feldspar quartz sandstones, dominated by braided river and aeolian sedimentary systems. The total thickness of the sand bodies is moderate, ranging from about 30 to 150 meters, with good lateral connectivity. Currently, multiple uranium mineralizations and thick uranium anomalies have been discovered, which are of the interlayer oxidation zone type. Moreover, the sandstones have a relatively high degree of maturity, high porosity, and good permeability, which are conducive to uranium enrichment and in-situ leaching mining. This paper, through the study of the petrological characteristics of the sandstones in the Luohandong Formation, helps to further understand the characteristics of the source of materials, uranium sources, and reducing media of the red and variegated rock series, laying a foundation for the next step of uranium exploration work.
