      铁佛寺钛磁铁矿位于扬子板块北缘、南秦岭华力西—印支褶皱带的高滩—兵房街印支褶皱束内。钛磁铁矿的母岩和围岩均为辉绿岩,含矿碱辉辉绿岩地质特征、矿体特征以及钛的赋存状态表明其属岩浆早期分异型钛磁铁矿床,其成矿时代为晚奥陶世—早志留世。区域上辉绿岩脉脉体多、规模大、岩体相带特征和成矿条件相同或相似,这些特征表明了其深部及区域上都有很好的找矿前景。
英文摘要:
      Titanomagnetite in Tiefosi is located at Gaotan-Bingfangjie Indosinian folded belt in the South Qinling Variscan—Indosinian folded belt in South Qinling,the Northern Margin of Yangtze Platform. Both the source rocks and surrounding rocks of Titanomagnetite are diabase. The geological characteristics of containing alkali-hui diabase,ore body characteristics and existing states of titanium show it is the early magmatic differentiation-type titanium magnetite ore. It was formed in the Late Ordovician- Early Silurian. The numerous and large-scale diabase dikes in this region,and identical or similar lithofacies character and mineralization conditions prove the good prospect of finding ores in its deep areas and this region.
