| Based on two years exploration experience and geological information collected in Eritrea, the authors summarized the characteristic of strata, structure and intrusion in Eritrea, as well as the metallogenic law of Two Cu-Au belts (Bisha-Zara and Asmara metallogenic belt), and the geological characteristic of typical deposits within two regional belts. The new exploration progress in Eritrea in recent ten years is introduced, it is considered that the geology background of Eritrea is good, and the work degree is low, which provides a good chance for exploration. The prioritized exploration goal in Eritrea is looking for VMS Cu polymetallic deposits and orogenic gold deposits in Precambrian terranes. |
