The concealed iron and molybdenum ore bodies were buried at the depth of from 400 to 900 meters below the surface in the Kangzhangzi deposit area, western Liaoning Province, therefore the core drilling is the most direct and effective exploration method. This paper introduces the survey principle and advantages of the JTL-40W gyro inclinometer and its application for the survey of the deep hole. The application of the gyro inclinometer will completely overcome the side effect of the concealed magnetite orebody, drill pipe and casing drilling, which provides the powerful technical support for the quality control of the small diameter of core drilling. |
