The Kangzhangzi molybdenum mineralization area located in the western Liaoning Province, occurs in the outside area of the old Xiaojiayingzi copper-molybdenum mining camp which is a large-sized skarn type deposit. There are favorable metallogenic conditions in the Kangzhangzi area, and the proven molybdenum and iron resources at the depth of the deposit area has reached the medium size by the drilling activities based on the integrated geophysical interpretation, which led the big exploration discovery in the surrounding area of the old Cu-Mo mining area. Through the application of the 3Dmine software in the Kangzhangzi deposit area, the digital information of exploration data was initially reached, and the 3D visualization of the deposit orebody was realized. In addition, work efficiency of summarizing the exploration achievements was improved, and the accuracy of the resources and reserves estimation was improved. Thus, it will benefit the enterprise to promote its technology development as well as the future mining development. |
