| This article briefly introduces the Google earth software, coordinate system, projection parameters, practical functions and the industrial application. The authors discuss those data conversion issues such as converting the batch of GPS data and linear graphics, non-vectored pictures and handheld GPS track into Google earth platform. In the meanwhile, the data conversion from the linear graphics with Google Earth format into the handheld GPS was also discussed. |
