| Based on the systematical analysis of the current situation of the continential facies volcanic rock type iron deposits, this paper comprehensively summarized the geological characteristics of this type of iron deposit including ore-forming geological body, orebody chariacteristics, iron ore characteristics, mineralization phases and stages, mineralization and alteration zoning, ore-forming depth, ore-forming fluid, physical and chemical conditions of ore-forming process, ore-forming material sources, metallogenetic mechanism, end member elements and the transitional iron deposit types, and the relationship with other deposit types. Then the metallogenetic model is proposed finally. |
