红石铜矿床位于东天山大南湖—头苏泉岛弧带北段的卡拉塔格地区。矿体产于火山岩—次火山岩中,受断裂构造控制,主要呈脉状;矿石类型以石英脉型和角砾岩型为主,矿石组构以梳状构造、晶簇/晶洞状等构造为特征,金属矿物以黄铜矿、黄铁矿、闪锌矿为主,非金属矿物以石英为主;矿区普遍发育硅化、绢云母化、碳酸盐化、青磐岩化等低温蚀变组合;成矿过程包括石英—黄铁矿脉、石英—硫化物脉以及石英—碳酸盐细脉;成矿流体以低温、低盐度的水溶液为特征。红石铜矿床地质与流体特征均与浅成低温热液型成矿系统一致,应属于浅成低温热液型铜矿床。 |

The Hongshi copper deposit is hosted in the volcanic rocks of the Daliugou Group in the Kalatage area, eastern Tianslian, NW China. The main orebodies are vein type and controlled by NS- or NW-trending faults. The mineralization styles include quartz vein type and breccia rock type. The ores have commonly vein, drusy or miarolitic structures; main metallic minerals are pyrite, chalcopyrite and sphalerite; the gangue mineral is mainly quartz. The wide hydrothermal alteration includes sericitization, silication, chloritization, epidotization and carbonatation. The ore-forming process can be divided into the early, middle and late stages, and characterized by quartz-pyrite, quartz-sulfide and quartz-carbonate veins respectively. The study of fluid inclusion composition in quartz from the Hongshi copper deposit indicated that the metallogenic fluid system was characterized with the low temperature and low salinity. Geological and fluid inclusion characterisitics of the Hongshi copper deposit suggest that the copper mineralization is similar to the epithermal mineralization system. Therefore, we propose that the Hongshi copper deposit may be considered as an epithermal copper deposit. |
