月亮山铁铜矿床位于智利中北部海岸山带铁氧化物铜金矿(IOCG)成矿带上,该带为智利北部巨大的多金属矿成矿省。矿区位处一级控矿构造阿塔卡玛(ATACAMA)断裂带次级构造——北北西与北北东断裂的交汇部位和北北东高精度磁测异常带上,对矿体地质特征(矿体特征、矿石特征、围岩蚀变)和地球物理特征(磁化率特征、磁异常特征、电法特征)分析,显示该矿床的控矿因素主要为构造、闪长岩体、热液角砾岩,从而确定了以含磁铁矿和赤铁矿角砾岩带、闪长岩体接触带、高精度磁测与激电异常叠加部位、矿物蚀变分带为主的找矿标志。 |

The Moon Mountain iron-copper deposit located in the north-central coast, Chile, occurs in the iron oxide-copper and gold (IOCG) metallogenic belt which is the huge metallogenic province of polymetallic ore field in the northern Chile.The deposit occurs at the junction part of the secondary fault structures of NNW-and NNE-trending of the regional ATACAMA fault and themagnetic anomalous zone in the NNE zone.The integrated analysis of geological characteristics of orebody (orebody characteristics, ore characteristicsand wall rock alteration) and geophysical characteristics(magnetic susceptibility features, magnetic anomaly and electrical electric prospecting) indicates the ore-controlling factors of the deposit mainly are fault structures, diorite intrusion, hydrothermal breccia, and hydrothermal aleration zoning. Therefore, the prospecting criteria of the deposit is summarized as followings:magnetite-and hematite-bearing breccia, the contact belt of diorite, superposition area of magnetic anomaly and IP anomaly and mineral alteration zoning. |
