The late Cretaceous - Palaeocene sea area characterized with the Alai strait resulted in the climate condition and metallogenic environment in the surrounding area of Tarim basin, the formation of the sandstone type lead-zinc-copper-manganese deposit experienced three stages, i.e., pre-marine transgression (continental phase), marine transgression stage (marine phase) and post-marine transgression stage (continental phase). Due to widely involvement of the brine water from the gypsum and oil field and overprinted by the low temperature magmatic fluid, the metallogenic characteristics of the deposit has multi-sources, multi-stages, multi-phases and multi-types of genesis. And the Mesozoic-Cenozoic sandstone type lead-zinc-copper-manganese metallogenic belt with the U-shape form was finally formed. |
