      西昆仑刀岩山一带大面积出露的中二叠统黄羊岭组、三叠系巴颜喀拉山群是区域汞、锑矿的矿源层,断裂、褶皱等控矿构造十分发育,局部出露石英斑岩、花岗闪长斑岩等成矿岩体,已圈出以Hg、Sb为主的综合异常和以Au-Cu-B-Ag等为主的多金属组合异常;文章通过对区内已有地质、化探、遥感资料的综合分析认为:区内热液型锑汞矿、与中酸性侵入岩有关的斑岩型或接触交代型铜金矿、破碎蚀变岩型金矿找矿潜力巨大。此外,研究区新近系唢纳湖组湖相地层中具备石膏矿的成矿地质条件,野马滩、盼水河一带的湖积物以及盐湖是寻找盐湖型锂矿、硼矿的有利部位。研究区成矿地质条件十分有利,具有较好的找矿远景,通过进一步工作,有望取得较大找矿进展。

      Huangyangling Formation and BayanHarShan Group widely outcropped in Daoyanshan area of Western Kunlun Mountain are the source beds of regional Hg and Sb mineralization, the ore-controlling structure including fault and fold are well developed, while the ore-forming rocks of quartz porphyry and granodiorite porphyry are locally outcropped.Comprehensive anomalies dominated by Hg and Sb elements and polymetallic composite anomalies dominated by Au-Cu-B-Ag elements have been respectively delineated. By comprehensively analyzing the existed geological, geochemical and remote sensing data of this area, this paper considered that the prospecting potential of deposits, including hydrothermal Sb-Hg deposits, porphyry-type or contact metasomatic-type Cu-Au deposits associated with intermediate-acid intrusive rocks, and fractured altered rock-type gold deposits,is huge. Additionally, the metallogenic and geological conditions of Neogene Suonahu lacustrine strata in the area are favorable for forming gypsum deposit, the deposits and salt lakes in Yematan and Panshuihe area are the favorable area for prospecting salt-lake type lithium and boron deposits. The geological and metallogenic conditions of the area are extremely favorable, and the prospecting potential is huge. Therefore, great prospecting progress could be achieved with further work.
