      新疆东天山月牙湾铜镍矿产于卡拉塔格矿集区西段,其与铜镍成矿关系密切的两个镁铁质杂岩体呈月牙状、环状小岩株产出于南北—北西向断裂构造带上,出露面积分别为0.53 km2、0.14 km2。岩相分异明显,主要为橄榄辉长岩、辉石橄长岩、橄长岩、辉长岩、斜长岩、淡色辉长岩及少量苏长岩,属于钙碱性系列,具有同源多阶段连续演化侵位的特点。镁铁质杂岩体对应高重、高磁、高极化率及中低电阻率的 “三高一低”综合物探异常特征,杂岩体范围内Cu、Ni、Co、Cr、Au、Ag元素综合异常明显。通过综合评价,初步圈定铜镍矿化体6个。矿体赋存于橄榄辉长岩–辉石橄长岩中,主要有浸染状—稠密浸染状和贯入的块状—脉状两种矿化类型,后者常构成富矿体。金属矿物主要为磁黄铁矿、黄铜矿、镍黄铁矿、黄铁矿及磁铁矿、钛铁矿。根据围岩接触关系和同位素定年结果限定了月牙湾岩浆型铜镍硫化物矿的成矿时代为早二叠世,与黄山—白鑫滩成矿带内的铜镍矿为同一时期产物。月牙湾岩浆型铜镍硫化物矿床的发现扩大了卡拉塔格及东天山地区铜镍找矿空间。

      The Yueyawan Cu-Ni deposit is located at the western Kalatage area, Eastern Tianshan, NW China. Ore-bearing mafic complex related to the mineralization is composed of olivine gabbro, pyroxene troctolite, troctolite, gabbro, anorthosite, leucogabbro and some norite of calc-alkali series, and are formed by fractional crystallization of the same sourced magma. The mafic complex has geophysical anomalies of “three higher and one lower”, i.e. higher gravity, higher magnetic force, higher polarizability and lower resistivity. What’s more, geochemical anomalies of Cu, Ni, Co, Cr, Au, Ag are significant. By comprehensive evaluation, six Cu-Ni orebodies have been determined, and the deposit is evaluated to have prospect of medium-sized resources. The orebodies occur in the olivine gabbro and pyroxene troctolite, and sulfide occur in disseminated-dense disseminated and massive-veinlet ores, with the latter compose bonanza. Ore minerals comprise magnetopyrite, pentlandite, chalcopyrite, pyrite, magnetite and ilmenite. According to the relationship between complex and wall rocks, and isotopic dating results, we suggested that the Yueyawan Cu-Ni deposit was formed in the Early Permian, when the Cu-Ni deposits formed in the Huangshan-Baixintan metallogenic belt. The discovery of the Yueyawan Cu-Ni sulfide deposit extends the prospecting space for Cu-Ni sulfide deposits in Kalatage and Eastern Tianshan area.
