The measured geological section is very important in geological work, and it is also the one of the most basic geological work, which is called a digital section in digital geological survey information system (DGSS for short).The application of digital mapping software to measure geological sections is simple and quick. The accuracy and authenticity of the measured geological profile data is critical. However, improper operation will result in difficulties in organizing and arranging data. This paper explains the steps and the precautions of collecting the measured geological section data by the handheld machine, reducing the difficulty of data sorting in the later stage and making the work more efficient, further mastering the application and operation skills of DGSS in the measured geological section. |
