| Tourmaline pegmatite and tin-bearing pegmatite are widely exposed in the Weidt area of Zimbabwe. Since the discovery of tin pegmatite in the area in 1920, the mine has been operating for a total of 74 years until it was closed due to resource depletion in 1994, so the deep side was searched for The hidden ore bodies are particularly important. On the basis of field investigation and collection of previous tin mine mining data in this area, this article summarizes the spatial distribution, geological characteristics and prospecting signs of tin-bearing pegmatites, combined with mine drilling data and believes that the tin-bearing pegmatites in the area contain lithium, Niobium, and tantalum all have good mineralization potential. Based on the analysis and discussion of the geological environment and ore rules of the deposit, this article puts forward the future prospecting direction of this area, which is a reference for the next exploration and deployment. |
