| 申家沟岩画谷隶属河南省登封市宣化镇申家沟村管辖,位于箕山北麓荟萃山森林公园腹地,大地构造位置处于华北陆块南缘,为一处新发现的地质遗迹资源。区域上地理条件优越,地质构造特征独特,成因受区域上“中岳运动”构造影响,古元古界五指岭组地层强烈变形,形成一系列复背斜和复向斜等褶皱构造,因岩层色彩多样、互相过渡、相间交替出现形成一幅幅复杂的褶皱构造图像——“天然岩画”。综合成果分析,申家沟岩画谷为多处典型褶皱构造组成的天然岩画群,岩画露头佳、规模大、构造特征多样,在河南省内较为稀有,与周边地貌景观、地质文化等旅游资源配套形成一处集研究古元古界嵩山群五指岭组地层、旅游观赏性、科研价值等特色的地质遗迹,认为后期地质旅游开发潜力较大。 |

| Shenjiagou Rock Painting Valley is localed in Shenjiagou village, Xuanhua Town, Dengfeng City, Henan Province. It is a newly discovered geological relic resource located in the southern margin of the North China landmass and the hinterland of huijishan forest park at the northern foot of Jishan mountain. The geographical conditions in the region are superior and the geological structure features are unique. The cause of formation is affected by the regional “Zhongyue movement” structure, resulting in strong deformation of the strata of the Paleoproterozoic Wuzhiling formation, forming a series of fold structures such as complex anticlines and synclines. The complex fold structure images-“natural rock paintings” are formed due to the diversity, mutual transition and alternation of rock strata. According to the analysis of comprehensive achievements, Shenjiagou rock painting Valley is a natural rock painting group composed of several typical fold structures. The rock paintings have good outcrops, large scale and diverse structural characteristics. It is rare in Henan Province. It forms a geological relic with high research value on the strata of wuzhiling formation of Paleoproterozoic Songshan group, tourism appreciation and scientific research value together with the surrounding geomorphic landscape, geological culture and other tourism resources. It has great potential for geological tourism development in the later stage. |
